BWAB and its Affiliates are privately held investment entities managed by a team led by Steven A. Roitman.

Our Heritage

The company has West Texas roots dating back to 1952, when it was founded as an independent, exploration-oriented oil and gas company with a history of success in the Overthrust Belt, including the discovery well at Anschutz Ranch East Field. The company also operated in other parts of the Rocky Mountain region. In 1992, Steven Roitman acquired 100% of the BWAB stock from the four founding partners, and redirected the company's focus from exploration to the acquisition of proved, developed, producing oil and gas reserves.
